Using Pet Ag Esbilac Puppy Milk Replacement Powder is easy. First, for mixing, take one part of the powder and gently stir or shake it into two parts of warm water. Remember not to use a blender and don't mix more than what your puppy can consume in 24 hours. Once mixed, keep it refrigerated. For puppies, if possible, let them have their mother's milk for at least 2 days as it gives extra nutrition and some temporary immunity. Warm the reconstituted milk to room or body temperature before feeding. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons per 4 ounces of their body weight each day. Divide this daily amount into equal portions for each feeding. Small or weak puppies need to be fed every 3 to 4 hours, while larger or older ones can be fed every 8 hours. You may need to adjust the amount based on your puppy's individual needs. For pregnant and lactating bitches, give them 2 teaspoons per 5 pounds of body weight each day. For growing puppies after weaning, show dogs, or dogs recovering from an illness, add 1 teaspoon per 5 pounds of body weight to their food daily. When it comes to storage, keep the unopened powder in a cool and dry place. The reconstituted milk should stay in the fridge for up to 24 hours. If you've opened the powder, you can keep it in the fridge for 3 months or freeze it for 6 months to keep it fresh. And always remember, this product is only for intermittent or supplemental feeding and is not for human use.
