Directions for Mixing:
Gently stir or shake one part powdered Esbilac into two parts warm water. Don't mix more than your puppy can consume in 24 hours. Avoid using a blender. Keep the reconstituted Esbilac refrigerated.

Directions for Use:
Puppies: If possible, all puppies should have their mother's milk for at least 2 days as colostrum provides extra nutrition and temporary disease immunity. Warm the reconstituted Esbilac to room or body temperature before feeding. Feed puppies 2 tbsp per 4 oz. of body weight daily. Divide the daily amount into equal portions for each feeding. Feed small and/or weak puppies every 3 to 4 hours, and larger/older puppies every 8 hours. Adjust the amount according to each puppy's needs. Consult your vet for more advice.
Pregnant and Lactating Bitches: Feed 2 tsp per 5 lb. of body weight daily.
Growing Puppies (post - weaning), Show Dogs, and/or Convalescing Dogs: Sprinkle 1 tsp per 5 lb. of body weight on their food daily.

Storage:
Store unopened powder in a cool, dry place. Keep reconstituted Esbilac refrigerated for up to 24 hours. You can refrigerate opened powder for up to 3 months or freeze it for up to 6 months to keep it fresh.
