Our 2 lbs green hermit crab sand substrate is perfect for lining the bottom of your hermit crab's terrarium. It offers a natural and safe space for your crabs to hide and burrow, just like they do in the wild. This sand is not only a great substrate but also a calcium source for your hermit crabs. To use, simply pour the contents of the bag into the terrarium bottom. Aim for a depth of three inches at one end, sloping down to an inch and a half. This allows enough room for their natural burrowing behavior. Periodically use a scooper to remove wastes. With its vibrant green color, it adds a touch of nature to your pet's home.

Using this hermit crab sand substrate is easy. First, pour the sand from the bag into the bottom of the terrarium. Make sure the depth is about three inches at one side and slopes down to an inch and a half. This gives your hermit crabs enough space to burrow as they would in the wild. You should use a scooper to take out any waste from the sand now and then to keep it clean. Remember, this sand is also a source of calcium for your hermit crabs, so it's good for their health. Keep the sand in a dry place when not in use to maintain its quality.
