This very small dual-lamp fixture is perfect for nano-size terrariums (10 gallons or smaller). It's ideal for small geckos, hatchling reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, insects, and other invertebrates. It's designed to be used only with Zoo Med's nano heating and lighting products (lamps not included), and each socket can hold up to 40 watts max.
Using this Zoo Med Nano Dual - Lamp Dome Lamp Fixture is easy. First, make sure your terrarium is 10 gallons or smaller as this fixture is designed for nano - size terrariums. Then, choose appropriate Zoo Med nano heating and lighting products (lamps are not included with the fixture) and install them in the sockets. Each socket can handle a maximum of 40 watts, so don't use bulbs that exceed this limit. When using it for your small geckos, hatchling reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, insects, or other invertebrates, place the fixture in a safe and stable position on the terrarium. As for maintenance, regularly check the bulbs for any signs of damage or burnout. If a bulb burns out, turn off the power and replace it with a new one. Keep the fixture clean by gently wiping it with a dry cloth to prevent dust build - up.
