Using this Zoo Med lighting combo is easy. First, install the repti basking spot lamp in the appropriate fixture during the day. This lamp will provide a concentrated heat source for your reptiles to bask. Then, at night, switch to the infrared heat lamp. It'll give off just the right amount of warmth without disturbing your pets' sleep. When handling the bulbs, always make sure they're cool to avoid burns.
