These replacement pads are super easy to use. First, turn off your Pondmaster 1000 or 2000 filtration system. Then, remove the old pads from the filter. Take out one of these new black pads, which are sized at 12'x 12', and place it in the filter. Make sure it fits snugly. Put the filter cover back on and turn the system back on. It's that simple! As for maintenance, check the pads regularly. If they look dirty or clogged, replace them with the second pad from the double - pack. You can also keep a new set on hand for future replacements.
