Product Description

The Aqueon Submersible Aquarium Heater is crafted from thermal shatter-resistant quartz glass, which can absorb impacts and is highly durable. It has an electronic thermostat that stops heating when the set temperature is reached. A power indicator light comes on when the heater is working, and it has a 6 - foot power cord. This UL - approved heater automatically turns off when not properly submerged to prevent overheating and damage. It can be placed vertically or horizontally and is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Available in wattages of 50W, 100W, 150W, 200W, and 300W, it also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Features include full submersibility, auto - shut off when overheated and reset when cooled down, precise temperature adjustment to 1 F (68 - 88 F), shatter - resistance, and an LED light that indicates when the water is being heated, along with automatic safety shut - off and overheat protection. Size: 50 Watt.

Using your Aqueon 50 Watt Submersible Aquarium Heater is easy. First, decide whether you want to place it vertically or horizontally in your aquarium. Make sure it's fully submerged in the water before plugging it in. Use the electronic thermostat to set your desired temperature within the range of 68 - 88 F. The LED light will turn on when the heater is working to heat the water. Keep an eye on the power indicator light to know its status. When you're done or need to do some maintenance on the aquarium, unplug the heater. Remember, this heater is programmed to turn off if it's not properly submerged to avoid overheating and damage. As for maintenance, regularly check the glass for any signs of damage. If it gets dirty, gently clean it with a soft cloth. This heater has a limited lifetime warranty, so if you encounter any issues, reach out to the manufacturer.
