Advantage II for Cats comes in a 4-month supply. This powerful formula with Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) eliminates all life stages of fleas. Its key ingredient, Imidacloprid, disables a flea's nervous system. It offers once-a-month topical flea prevention and treatment for cats 8 weeks and older. Key features include: killing all flea life stages to prevent home infestations, killing adult fleas on a pet within 12 hours and re-infesting fleas within 2 hours, being waterproof, having a fast and easy dermal application, requiring only one application per month, and being safe for cats 8 weeks and older. Item specifications: Available in two weights - 5-9 lb. (Orange) and over 9 lb. (Purple). Application: Apply the entire tube contents on the neck at the base of the skull monthly. Length of effectiveness: Under normal conditions, it works for a month. In severe flea infestations, retreatment may be needed earlier than four weeks, but not more often than once every seven days. After flea control is achieved, return to a monthly retreatment schedule. Active ingredients: 9.1% Imidacloprid, 0.46% Pyripoxyfen, and 90.44% other ingredients.
