Using the Zoo Med Premium Adjustable Avian Sun Deluxe Floor Lamp is easy. First, make sure you use it with the Zoo Med Avian Sun 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp. Place the lamp in a spot where your birds can easily get under the light, but not too close to avoid overheating. Adjust the gooseneck to direct the light as needed. When it comes to maintenance, keep the lamp clean by gently wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Replace the bulb according to the manufacturer's instructions. Always make sure the lamp is turned off and unplugged before cleaning or changing the bulb. Also, keep an eye on your birds' behavior to ensure they're comfortable with the light.
